Hedley's Trip

They set off early morning from Bandar, the capital of Brunei and
drove to the border with Sarawak. They arrived at sunset. They crossed two large rivers by
a large ferry, stopped in Miri for lunch and then continued to Niah, a small river
township. Then they hired a small boat and sailed upriver to a
government rest house, where they stayed the night. They ate dinner with
the small group of scientists who lived in the rest house and shared the cold
drinks they had brought with them in a cool box. It was a remote
spot, in middle of the jungle. They slept in bunk beds with no airconditioning.

The next day morning, they went on a jungle path for half an hour until
they reached the Niah caves. Along the caves, which were very high,
they saw men who climbed up tall bamboo poles. They were wearing light hats because it was so dark. At the top of the poles, they took off birds’ nests from the roof of the caves. The nests were collected by their mates on the cave floor. These nests were
later sold and made into bird’s nest soup, a Chinese delicacy; they eat everything even human meat.

Finally, they said goodbye to their new friends in the rest
house and departed on the long drive home. It was quite an adventure.

Final project

Air pollution

The mother earth that we know with her stunning beauty has became threatened with genocide again after the age of dinosaurs, but now the human who destroyed her with their careless and thinking that nothing will harms her. Recently many problems appear that effect the earth and one of the problems is air pollution. The air pollution threatens human life and other organisms and that, despite all the efforts made over the past years to curb the deterioration of the environment, the environmental situation worse now than before. So in this essay I will write about the huge problem that we are in which air pollution is and how we reduce it.
The problem is significant and should not be silent about it and it is not about one or two country but also pose a threat to the whole world and everybody must aware about it. Air pollution is exposure the atmosphere to many gases that contained a chemical and biological object that harms and affect anyone living in the earth and effect the mother earth too. There are many causes of air pollution and one of it is the carbon dioxide which is a harmful gas that effects the environment, it used in many industry like oil and chemical industry. Also the result from use fuels and coal by factories, power plants, cars and jet planes etc, all of this release the primary pollution into the air. No wonder that the air pollution is increasing in huge rate in the air. There are other types of gases that cause air pollution like nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxides, and organic compounds that can evaporate and enter the atmosphere (buzzle.com). There is a health problem that comes for air pollution, the statistic shows that the  symptoms of respiratory diseases is increasing every day for the people that work or live near the roads and industry field and less exposed for whose live in protected and clean environment. Not only has that but evened increase the rate of cardiovascular mortality and respiratory mortality. Other studies show that reducing of birth weight related to increasing of air pollution (wri.org). Air pollution is not harms the human only but evens the environment, for example Sulfur dioxide which increasing enormously in the air is makes the rain contain acids which damages rivers, lakes and forests.

The problem of air pollution is not a new problem, but it have existed since antiquity, then became popular in significantly way in twenty one century. The first class countries in the world had to deal with this phenomenon that was by using media to spread awareness for people to keep their environments clean and make rules for factories and big companies to reduce their activate and do not use a harmful gases. Also they tried to put the factories outside the cities so they decrease the problem and plants as many as possible of plants in the cities to spread the oxygen and clean air (thinkquest.org).
However this rules and government afford has not work over these years, so some countries established organizations to fight this problem and try to reduce it in the whole world. These organizations had been helping a lot of country and that still doing that. Recently they suggest to the government of the big cities to reduce of number of cars and factories minimize this problem, and instead focus of non-renewable source they focus on natural sources of energy such as hydro power and windmills. This does not stop here, but their campaigns to raise awareness and help poor countries that cannot help themselves from this pollution. Each person should be aware the seriousness of the situation as I said it everyone problem and no one should sit and waiting for the risk form the government. But it should contribute to the reduction of this phenomenon by using the latest technology that available today, such as filters that can be install in cars and factories. Another technology is gas scrubber one type of technology used in controlling air pollution, this devices is deal with pollutants emitted by the gas emanating from the furnace stacks, or any other gases.
All in all, air pollution makes our world for high risk and as we see today, it becomes worse every day, so we must work quickly to solve this problem because it cannot fix something after too late or gone. The government should be too strict with the people in this issue. Also the people should be much more concern about this beautiful plant and try their best in the future.

Jose Mourinho and F.C. Internazionale Milano

This article tells us about the coach Mourinho and his club Internazionale Milano. It is clear that, Mourinho has played important roles in driving the Inter forward but there is a little impact on him from Italy's campaigns in South Africa.  After the draw between Internazionale Milano and Chelsea, Mourinho thinks to return back to Chelsea in England but the fans of Chelsea see that Mourinho will not concentrate on his task to bring the Championship to Chelsea.
In summer 2008, Mourinho replaced Roberto Mancini in leading Internazionale Milano. Mourinho was brought to bring trophies to Internazionale Milano. In the last season before Mourinho led Internazionale Milano, the team lost many matches. Mourinho pronounced that he was aside from Chelsea because the team has drawn with one of the strongest. Mourinho was working “do or die” (Agnew, 2010) hard to prepare Inter Milano to confront Chelsea and Inter won the match against Chelsea. He had rearranged the team and put good plans to win the championship.
In the end of 2008, Inter Milano could reach the top of the table with 42 points. With the coach Mourinho, Inter Milano could win many great teams. Once, Mourinho get annoyed with media in favour of his team.

Zayed was named after his famous grandfather, Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan (Zayed the Great), who ruled the emirate from 1855 to 1909. His eldest brother, Sheikh Shakhbut Bin-Sultan Al Nahyan, became ruler of Abu Dhabi in 1928 after their uncle. Zayed's mother, Sheikha Salaamah, took a promise from her sons not to use violence against each other, a promise which they kept.

As Zayed was growing up, there were no modern schools anywhere along the coast. He received only a basic instruction in the principles of Islam, and lived in the desert with Bedouin tribesmen, familiarizing himself with the life of the people, their traditional skills and their ability to survive under tough conditions.
Zayed was selecteed the governor of the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi in 1946 and was based in the Muqaiji fort in Al Ain. At that time, the area was poor.

In 2004 on 2 November, Zayed died. He was believed to be 86 years old. However, he had recently been in a London hospital getting treatment. He is buried in the yard of the new Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
His eldest son, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, born in 1948, was ratified as the Ruler of the United Arab Emirates by his fellow rulers on the Supreme Council directly after his father's death.
